Mission Impossible!!!!! (drunk Rambling)

It's 4:27am. I just got done installing my Alpine 9830 head unit and MB QUART 6x9's and Kappa 6.5 components! I'm very proud of myself as the hardest part of the install was the mod on the dash kit. I started the install at 11:30 pm.
The unit looks OEM!!! And the speakers sound great (at least better than the bull crap "Bose" system)!
Don't get it twisted. I used to be an installer years ago and haven't done it for a while now. I fell out of the loop and forgotten much of the basics. Plus I am drunk as a mofo (cognac and apple juice...try it, you will have no complaints!)
Anyway... I was skeptical about getting the 9830 because I wanted the Eclipse 3434, but I got the unit for 1/2 the retail price ($400). I am a perfectionist and I don't often settle for less than the best, but let me tell you! Alpine kicks mucho ass!! No amp, no x-overs, and the system sounds great! I can only imagine the quality once I add a 10" sub and a pair of amps.

POINT IS: I'm a proud LEGEND owner ('95 L Cashmere Silver sedan) who has just given her a much needed audio make-over! She is happy, I am proud. I just wanted to share my good news with you all! I hope you all can appreciate it as much as I do.

You should....its damn good. I am a chef, so I am always experimenting. I stumbled onto the combination. Sould also try cognac and vanilla coke. :p

I am on my 5th alpine system and I love their gear. My whole system is alpine right now and it pounds and sounds so clean.

Yeah, pix would be cool. Also...try some SoCo and limeade..that'll get you really fawked up cause the lime totally hides the taste..
