Mobil-1 Oil Filter???

So I was looking to put a Mobil-1 filter on my car this oil change, because I've been using FRAM. Unfortunately the application book I have here does not list a Mobil-1 Filter for the Legend. However there is one listed for a 1996 SLX with the 3.2L V6 ... M1-104 is the part listed. The same part is listed for the 2000 TL with the 3.2L V6. Does anyone know if these engines are similar enough to the 3.2L in the Legend to assume the oil filter is applicable? I understand there may be some issues with the fit (as in the dimensions and placement may be different) but will the threads and such be the same? Anyone use a Mobil-1 filter on their Leggy?

They don't make mobil 1 filter for our Legends...but I wish they did. So I only use the oem filter from the dealer. I think it works the same.

Didn't the 3.2TL use a C32A as well?

Edit: According to wikipedia the 96-98 3.2TL was a C32A, the 3.2 from '99 up was a J-series.

You can use oil filters that fit NSXs. Anything else generally doesn't work.

Unless you have a C35A1 swap. Different story

Yeah, I guess I'm gonna go with the Wix filter. That actually was my original choice for a FRAM alternative, but I didn't want to wait for it. But I guess good things come to those who wait . . .

They dont make K&N or Mobil 1 filters for the G2 legend only Bosch fram and some others.

Fram sucks, Bosch is better but if you want something really good use WIX, I get mine from AMSOIL for 10 bucks cheaper and better than crap fram

How do the WIX compare to the OEM filters?

Are they the larger, NSX sized canister?
