Molding adhesive
what type of adhesive, if any do i use to make the black molding around my window stay in place? It looks like it is supposed to be "glued" on but Im not sure, maybe there are clips. I need to do some light aesthetic work on my baby and this is one of them.

My molding is coming off too. There are clips that are holding it down, but the clips got brittle and broke. The previous owner of my car injected some kind of caulk or cement-like substance in there and now it has come loose and broken up into little pieces. Now my molding sticks out and I've gotta rip it all off and get new clips

I've only dealt with the rear window moldings, and the two front door weatherstrips. They are all held on with assorted clips and plastic plugs. As far as I know, there should be NO glue or cement/caulk holding the moldings on. The clips do a very good job of holding the moldings to the car.
