Moonroof modification project.

How many of you wish the G2 Legends had this moonroof option? Check out this link and see MikeC and Greame's Legends with the new moonroof options

I know there was a lot of research and development leg work that went into this project. Lots of personal money was spent in this research to find out exactly what worked and what did not and lonf distance phone calls to Europe. I htought about doing this myself, but I didn't have any European contacts to help aid in the research.

Just adding my email to the thread

Sounds like they want to charge for the DIY:

PS. The DIY is being developed. However, it will come at a price; with a minimum number of confirmed requests required.

Actually, we want to RECOVER the costs we invested to have the tilt feature work on our USDM Acura Legends...

Thats preatty cool and all ,,, I aint interested however I just wanted everyone else just to be sure that "everything" functions the same way after that modification. Instead of asking how much I first would be asking, "Would I have any problems with leaks? Will this harm the stock electric motor or present any possible electrical problems in the future?" Im just sure looks great to have your moonroof tilt and all but was everything well thought out and could there be any potential side effects? The whole DIY with a price value seems kinda "shady" to me. Of course all it would take is for one person to purchase the information and then give it out to everybody else for free. Hmmm I have some money to burn and nothing to do with my time perhaps I should purchase this DIY and make a generous "information donation post to all members on our board" Hahahha naw I wouldnt burst that bubble like that. Lets put it on E-bay
But for the record great work on that modification. Perhaps some more detailed pics on how you activate the tilt feature? An added button on your dash or something?

Thumbs up I'm in.....

Chris/Graeme, I'm in on this sunroof mod DIY, regardless of cost. Let me know what I need to do. Thanks for all of your hard work and research. Later---
