or figure it out for yourself... and probably still pay them for the inspiration if you want.

Yes, the inspiration itself is worth $20. Going into a project like that and knowing it is easily possible makes it much easier.

Hey Guys,

Good job on figuring out the moonroof tilt mod! And thanks for respecting the effort that we went through by not immediately divulging the information.

Enjoy this new feature that Acura should have included on the Legend in the first place.

To get it to do that, you would have to do a complete conversion. This requires a different harness, modules, relays, switches and sensors. It gets very costly.

From what I understand, if it is not completely sealed, the water still won't get into the car. There is a special drain pan in the sunroof, that redirects the water into the water channels.

Read the other threads about this mod... Honestly, I'm suprised people are trying to make money off the DIY. Especially if the mod itself is (from what I understand), very easy. Seems cheap & in poor taste to me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking those guys for trying to get money! Were I to figure that mod out, I'ld most-likely post a DIY and not expect to get anything out of it other than a 'thank you' and good karma knowing I willingly contributed to the whole.

To each his own and whatever the case, the mod itself gets a thumbs up from me!

I agree, this is a forum, arent we supposed to help others rather than sell a "technique" i think it is sad that some people are trying to make profit off of this.

Yes I do mean PROFIT, i know they want to make sway bars and such, but i guarantee most people who want this tilt mod are not considering sway bars any time soon. Also, how are you tring to get your money back??? Isnt it a Free and easy mod that takes little time? If u are considering ur personal time worth money, than i suggest u should stop thinking about yourself and be willing to share withe community around you.

Good job you guys!

Hmm..I wonder how many more people will figure out this mod on their own.

I hardly every use my moonroof but now I'm thinking of trying to figure this one out with my limited mechanical knowledge....Oh well lets see.
