There's a market for the TypeI: folks who don't know about the 3.5L swap and don't care about the added performance of the TypeII but want their car running.

TypeIs will still sell- just for not as much as as a TypeII.

maybe, IMO its 200% pointless in swapping in a typeI and stock 3.5 is slightly better in performance b/c of added tq. HOWEVER alot more a reliable engine, DOESN'T blow HG's left and right, and really in the near future we should have a good solution for mounts and anything else that slightly varies btwn the two setups to make a 3.5 swap the only thing worth doing.

However there still is a market for the type1 at the moment, i guess. Someone will always need parts, and think about it this way, the block is the same for all 3.2's. and someone might need a head for a type1 while in the middle of a HG job and needs to replace one.
