My Legend's New Sibling and rattle control

I just added a 2000 323ci 5spd to the family. I hope the legend isn't too jealous.

On another subject - I need new front upper ball joints for the Legend. Should I just get the whole control arm?

and, the rear suspension rattles on bumpy roads. Where should I start to diagnose this?

Rear suspension rattling. Possible worn strut mounts?? You would have to get under the car on a jack or lift and move everything around to see what's what.

I make it a practice to just change the whole arm when doing ball joints.

Nice purchase on the Beemer.
