My new 6speed coupe!!

Alright, a couple pics first:

So last friday I flew out to Michigan with my brother and met Tony(jamlegend) and George(whitelegend) at the airport in Lansing. We drove over to Tony's in George's sweet sedan, then took the coupe for a test drive. It was awesome! Then the fun part, we jacked up the car and changed the oil and the transmission fluid, scalding Tony in the process. We finished up all the paperwork, then I started driving home. Took a wrong turn about five minutes in, but Tony's maps saved us and we made it to Columbia, MO in ~11 hours. Chilled with my uncle for the day, then drove back to Denver, ~10 hours, and got home about 7:30am. All in all, the drive was 1500 miles. The car drove perfect all the way home, 90mph in 6th gear. I averaged about 25mpg and drank probably 20 Pepsi's. All in all, it was a great experience, Tony and George were really nice, and now I have my 6 speed!

Yeah Tony, I bought a $3 dent puller from Checker and most of it came right out, it's not really noticable anymore. You really have to look for it now. I think I'm going to wash and wax tomorrow, so I should have some more pictures soon. The leather is awesome man, all of my friends love it. Compared to my old coupe, it's really amazing. Sorry the car's so dirty, but it rained so hard here yesterday, it was like driving through a river, it was crazy.

Props to Tony for the leather, he did it all himself, it looks sweet.

Chris, I was so amazed when it actually worked, I thought it was just going to be used to open refrigerator doors and pick stuff up when I'm lazy. First try, I stuck it on at my friend's house, pulled real hard, and fell over when the dent popped out. Of couse, I've been trying it on all of my friend's cars, it's worked one other time, I think it's mostly good for big dents.

Was your 6-speed black too? I haven't seen pics of it in a long time, but I remember it being sweet..

Took me 32 hours to do the leather. It was the first time I tried it and I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I even made some additional anchors to make sure it rolled as close to OEM as possible. It fitted like a glove after a coupe weeks of use. I'm looking forward to doing it again after I get some time to look for another coupe with bad leather seats. It should be much quicker next time.

Keep up the pics and fix ups Harry.
