My New Leather Seats!

They arrived today!

Bought them on Feb 27th from Leatherseats.com on eBay.
Contacted them first, asked if they can match 2 colors I wanted for my Acura Legend 1992 LS Coupe. My car doesn't have the sticker with the color codes on driver's door. But I found it's code "E" - Taupe Grace Beige YR147L. And Reddish Black NH172L for Surfaces Dash and mid-trim.

So, I went to Homedepot and found their color samples that match my interior.
They were:
UL12 Galvanized for Surfaces Dash and mid-trim and VM90 Chocolate Souffle for Main Seating.
Them I sent them these samples by mail.
After a week or so I received the reply from them - they can't find the darker one.

I ask them to send me the sample of what they have. I got it in about 10 days. Pretty good match. So, I decided to go with one-tone Chocolate Souffle (a.k.a Taupe Grace Beige).

On Feb 27th I paid them $399 + $85 shipping to Canada BC by PayPal. As I said - got it today. CAME FROM CHINA as well as a samples. Looks pretty good, well done, accurate and nice.

So far I like it.

Now I need to find the Heating element to replace the driver seat broken one.
I also want embroidered Acura logo on the top part the the front seat backs.

And I'm ready to start this project!

Do you think it is Cashmere Silver Metallic?

Yeah I just asked the same about my car a few days ago, Leather is looking good.

Love your color but, need a better pic of the car to determine color... Or maybe I just want a better pic of the car... NICE LEATHER EITHER WAY...

But As you know the Heating elements are in "H"-shape. And you can not cut the one from eBay.

I can buy the complete power heated set (driver's or passenger's one) from local junk yard for $70CAD.
It's $70 for 2 OEM elements. Of course, I'll check them with tester first.
I'll go to junk yard this Saturday.
And the rest of the seat I can, probably, sell for parts.

My bad, I must of misread something, I was talking about the exterior of the car, paint code. Sorry for any confusion, I'm sure your right on with the interior but yes I think the exterior is def. Cashmere silver Metallic.

But wow the type E and type F are really similar, How did it match up to your old seats???
