Unhappy My RM racing muffler rusted ..what can I replace it with?

Hi All,

After 10 years, the muffler on my RM Racing exhaust system has rusted. It now sounds bad and I need to replace it.

I'm not looking for anything loud - in fact, I'd like the same muffler but I don't know which one RM uses. In any case, is it possible to simply replace the muffler with another one ? I don't want to replace the entire system if I can avoid it.

Thanks
Balaji

I saw a guy selling a brand new Remus rev 3 in the FS section. Sounds great!

Question

Hi,

Thanks for the inputs. Do both these exhausts - magnaflow and Remus bolt on to the back of the S -pipe ?

The muffler body needs a pipe that goes over the axle to bolt on to the S-pipe. I just want to make sure that the above exhausts come with the pipe a well.

Guys,

Most sellers on eBay & other sites are simply selling the Magnaflow muffler body alone - where do you get a seller that sells the pipe & the flange as well so that you can simply bolt on ?

Even the Remus seller doesn't show the muffler with flanges. Am I missing something here ?

just have a shop weld it on Balaji. Any muffler shop can do that.
