Point taken, but being that Acura Legends are the minority and Honda Legends are the majority, some prefer to associate with how Legends are known and sold in most parts of the world; and that is as Hondas. Acura is primarily a North American thing.

wow harsh! did she ever change her mind? its funny since toyota is thinking of marketing Lexus in Japan. Since i guess they think Japanese people will fall for thier marketing scheme like we americans lol. Hey if it works iam all for it, even though the toyota names are cooler, like toyota aristo = Lexus GS.

OK man, here is the real problem. You think the H logo represents lower level of car? Associates it with Civics?? The Home Depot grill mod brings down the image of our cars, not the "H" badge. For example, a L Legend sedan is just a middle level Acura. As a Honda Legend, it is king of all Hondas. And, it is unique. Those of us that have done it, we did it correctly. A real "H" airbag cover, real "H" grille assy and the correct badges/engine trim. People appreciate the effort that goes into this. And if people don't know dick about cars, then they are even more confused that a Honda can be so nice. Dude, no one will confuse a Honda Legend with a Civic. It is obviously a better car. Besides, Acura is not a prestigious name. I think everyone can agree that Acura is only a notch or two above Honda in percieved prestige, but many more notches below Infiniti, Lexus or BMW. The Acura name gains you no respect. So why is it so special in your mind?

ok a few things , first i dont like H verses the A infact i like it without any look at my sig. Second, although i dont like to say i care what people think cause i really dont for the majority i just like knowing and having people know that i own an acura. Honestly if i though the H emblem looked cooler then the A i would probably have it on cause i dont care to much about what people think i just think the H is all over my city on civics and old rust accords so i guess thats just my opinion.

im with you roger, it has no baring on peoples thoughts. i just like the A emblem MUCH better. even though it is a honda its is also an acura as SEEMINGLY NOT KNOWN, Acura is better, the Acura did have more power in its later iteration (MORE POWER THAN JDM AND EDM) 230 vs. 225. Type II vs. Alpha-Touring, respectively and the available 6 spd manual transmission developed by Acura of America. and even though its not perceived in some small sections Acura is seen (by the not so car inclined audience) as a LARGE step up. though i could care less it is nice to say i have an acura....not, i have a honda cause when HONDA comes to my mind...i see Accord, Civic, Odyssey, Soccer Mom, Older sister, Highschool girl.

oh well its in this image conscious american ideal that we are all stuck in and HONDA realized that and thats why there is such a thing called "Acura". dont say you are not image conscious because you are. hooking up your car...buying cologne...wearing nice clothes...getting your hair cut...its all image consciousness so let it go...this is almost as played out as the Turbo posts
