Need comparison pics (4300k vs 6000k)
I'm considering HID's sometime in the near future, and I'm stuck between the two colors... (4300k and 6000k). I'm looking for some comparison pics (hopefully on legends) so I can see which one aesthetically pleases me more
Also if you have pics, try to get them color adjusted so they match what they really look like in real life. Don't 'enhance' them to look different than what they are. I need a real comparison.

here are some pics from my prelude back in the day. The beam pattern wasn't good because I just kinda jammed the H1s in there, but you can see the color:
I can't help it, I like the color.
Honestly I'd like a lil more, bout 7000k.
Tyson's looked awesome (8000k) when I saw his at the national meet 05. But I know I'd get too much negative attention. it's already bad enough.
don't go by just pics, check them out in person if possible..
from my experience digital pics of hid's distort the color a little

Thats definately what i'd prefer, but unfortunately none of my friends have hids around here. I've seen a purple retrofit on a white bmw that looked ok, but not my taste (and horrible light output), and i've seen blue (probably 8000K) on a grand prix and a scion; wasn't my cup of tea. And then i see tl's driving around, and i love their pure white color, assuming its 4300k, but wouldn't mind a slight shift toward 6000k.
Yeah, I am looking at getting HID's also and have been searching for a kit around 5000k, because a remeber reading somewhere that that range gives the most light output but color is subjective to what you like.
I have been dragging my feet though because I don't want to drill holes in the headlight caps and not have replacement ones. If someone has a extra set they wouldn't mind letting go of...
Do the 1-piece headlight cover have to be drilled also?

I don't know about others but I wouldnt go any higher than 6000k. If you want to stand out from the rest I suggest you go with 6000K but if you wanna kinda blend in then go with 4300K. my personal choice is 6000K.
