Need HELP! Can't remove crankshaft pulley bolt

I have a 94 Legend. I'm using a crankshaft pulley tool to keep the pulley in place while I use my tempered steel 19mm 1/2 drive breaker bar on it and NOTHING! I had the timing belt changed 6 years ago by the dealership. They must have cranked on that pulley bolt greater than 150-200#'s.

Any suggestions how to add more torque to my breaker bar to release the crankshaft pulley bolt? Should WD-40 make a difference at all here or is that superficial? If I use an impact wrench, do I still need to use the crankshaft pulley tool to hold the pulley in place, or can I just light up the crank bolt with the impact wrench directly?

How much pressure should I expect to exert on the pulley bolt to loosen it?

I'm assuming this means I may need an impact wrench to INSTALL the pulley bolt when I'm done, too, eh?

The easiest way is to bump the starter and the nut will come right off.

Use an extension on the breaker bar, I use my jacks 3' bar or sometimes I use my 4' fence post If you have access to air and an impact that is the easiest, won't need the tool if using an impact. But please use a torque wrench and the tool to put it back on.

Does this mean you have someone hold the breaker bar while someone else taps the ignition key?

@BIGBOY: Thank you... The "Starter Bump" Trick worked!

Almost pulled my arm off the first time (doh!) and then secured it against the frame. Voila. One bump and it was loose. Muchas Gracias.

God No! that would rip your arm off,No special tool required, its called the starter method. Just place the breaker bar on the bolt and lean it against the driver side frame, tap the ignition once and that bolt will loosen right up.
