Need help on routing wires for amp

i checked my car and i cant seem to lift the carpet anywhere to place the power cables for my amp from my trunk to the car battery. how do you lift or remove the carpet inside the car to run the power cables?

and also, i looked for somewhere for the cable to go through to get to the battery under the steering wheel area. i dont see any holes or anything i can get through!!! i need help! what did you guys do and what should i look for? i really wanna avoid drilling.

any help/suggestions will be appreciated. THANKS!! :p

Post in the audio section you will get more responses.

There is room on the left or right side. As a rule remember to run power down one side and RCA, speaker cables etc.. down the opposite side so you don't get blead over.
Once you remove all the plastic trim you can shove it all the down to the frame. Undo a couple of bolts on the seats so can lift them up. I have almost my entire interior out right now so it seems pretty simple to me.
The RCA's that I i ran is the size of 4 gauge wire (the best monster ones). I have two of them, 4 sets or 12 gauge speaker wire, remote turn on, rear view camera all running down the passenger side of the car so trust me when I say it will fit. However I struggled for about 30-45 minutes before i said scew it and removed 3 bolts on the seats so I could lift up on them, took about 5 minutes to remove the bolts and another 5 minutes to route the cables so save yourself some time and lift the seat.
As for the pass through on the firewall look on the outside at a gromet going in. Use a straightened out metal coat hanger and push it through, then come on the other side and tape your 4 gauge wire to the hanger but tape it good and then pull it back through. Use a screw driver to help make the hole bigger on the gromet on both ends to make it easier. I will probably do this tomorrow night so I can't tell you an exact location but there is definetly one, you just have to find it.

this is blitz pic of the engine bay

basically theres a hole on the driver side finder inside the engine bay...

run your wire down there.... take part of your wheel well liner off... you should see the wire hanging from up top.

now look for a plastic black plug. it should be to the left and a little bit below the bunch of wires.... this plastic plug is covering a hole that goes to the fuse panel.

if you take a flashlight from inside the vehicle and step outside you'll see that theres an obvious path that the wire can take.

i fought with 1/0 gauge wire for a while until i used a flashlight and i found how to angle the wire... once i did this it went in nice and easy..

and 1/0 pretty thick.

after that i took out my seats and lifted the carpet and just ran the wire straight down under the existing wires that were running in that direction and I ran it all the way to the trunk.

i wish i had pics but..

anyways there wont be any need to drill.
