i paid ~100 for 4 wheels in san francisco. my guy even let me leave the tires on so i didnt hafta get them unmounted/remounted.... anyways, i wouldnt pay 320/4. it'd almost be cheaper if you shipped them to atl and had thai get them bored out for you. lol

If I save money by going to someone's suggested place, then I will make a donation to that person or the forum...

Help.

try callin around. i went through the phone book and called all the machine shops in SF asking if they'd bore out the wheels. only a couple would even do it and of those, i went with my gut and chose the one i felt good about. he turned out to be a cool a$$ guy. i talked with him for like 45 mins after i dropped my wheels off... he did a good job too. Nick at c.a. kilger machine works inc. 415.648.7227. This wont help you, but it might help someone else out. Gluck finding someone.

go to a large LOCAL wheel retailer or speed shop. I'm 100% sure you don't/shouldn't have to send your wheels out to get this done .... I mean New York State has people that can do this ! You have to spend some time and phone around. Use the internet too.

If you ship the wheels and you have ANY issues .... you wont be able to do very much about it so find someone local.

wow, 100 calls ! I am surprised its been so difficult for you. Last suggestion, maybe the good local bodyshops can help you find a local place to get it done. Sorry I can't help.

Got three this AM....all in Brooklyn. (I already called Queens and LI).

1st place- 200 (w/o tires on) for all 4 but takes 1 week.
2nd place- 260 (w/o tires on) for all 4 on same day.
3rd place- 180 (w/o tires on) for all 4 same day.

The winner is place #3.

I am gonna take em there Friday, hopefully.
