Need a part number...
I need the part number for the Glove Box handle, not the whole lock assembly, just the handle.
The little plastic doo-dad that releases the lock broke on mine, so now the glove box is open all the time, or closed (forcing me to get a screw driver to manually release the lock whenever i want to open it). Acura of Agusta's site is jacked, and has been for a long time, so short of calling them im just going to ask this here. Im sure the HELM manual would have the part # in it. Thanks in advance! -Brandon P.S. I got these picture from http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.net... it seems to show the glove box, but i cant find the handle part! ![]() ![]() Last edited by Darkstar : 10-04-02 at 11:33 PM. |

None of the Service/Shop manuals, including the HELM will have part numbers. The glove box lock assy used to list for around $64. Telephone Acura of Augusta. The Crash Estimating Guide I use does not list just the handle, only the lock assy.
The bezel/surround for the glove box lock cylinder is separate from the handle. Both appear to be covers/bezels and both are color-coded to your interior. I believe you could probably order these. You need to telephone Acura of Augusta. You may find you might have to paint the part. Last edited by LPB : 10-05-02 at 11:01 AM. |
