need quick and easy help. Tried searching...

Hello you guys,
Okay so I have been looking at these rims and i was happy for a moment because I though these were the famous TL rims that many members put on the G2 Legends. Here is the link to those rims I have talked to the guy and he still has them they 17 inch. I want to know if these are the rims that fit directly with the legend.
http://corvallis.craigslist.org/pts/464503619.html
So are they?
Thanks a bunch.

They'll fit if you bore the centers to match the Legend hub diameter.

They'll fit but you need to bore the center out to 70.2mm.I think they come with aprox 67mm center bore. Since there are no tires on them, it should onyl cost you about 20/rim to get them bored out.

ok jeez thats going to be kinda of expensive seeing that tires are going to cost like 500 dollars. what do you guys think is it a good idea? Im pretty cheap when it comes to these things I honestly do not mind the stock rims.

Yes, they are. Everyone else has theirs bored out to fit, you'll have to do the same. This topic has been covered quite a bit in the past.

Actually $175 for these is a steal. I'd bring him down to $150 plus another $100 for boring - the rims would cost you $250. Don't go for super high performance tires if you intend to drive like a normal human being. For another $150 you can get a set of OEM Michelin tires (used) with 70-80% tread remaining. Its gonna cost you $400-500 for a decent set of used rims and tires. You gotta pay to play dude.

What he said. The thing that I don't like about the TL rims is that they are very easy to curb as the spokes angle out past the lip of the rim.

Those are a steal!!! I would buy those in a second for that price. As for curbing, its all about how you drive. I've been driving for almost 9 years and never curbed a wheel. Now if your girl drives your car then it might be a concern

I will do research and if used tires cost around 150 or so I will get them. In my case iam going to have to buy the rims and get the tires as a Christmas present from my loved ones.lol. Thanks for the help you guys! Everyone in here should never quit helping each other.
