New factory key

I was wondering, is there any way to get a new blackhead key from the factory like the one when the car was new? When I bought my car I only got a silver copy of the master key and a scratched up original master key...not even worth showing in public. Is there any way to get an original Acura master key? Anyone know?

Yup. Just go to your local acura dealership with your VIN. They should do it there.

But will it be a factory key with the emblem on it? I tried that with a Camry I had once and they gave me an Ilco brand key instead of the original Toyota key. If I just wanted a regular rubber key I'd go to some key shop.

yes, I got an Master Acura Key with Red Enblem from my local dealer. Just give them your VIN and the key code on your master key and they can cut it for you.

The Acura dealer can cut you both a Master and Valet key using just your VIN. Cost (a few yrs ago) was $5.00 per key made while you wait.
