New Member - New Legend!

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself and say Hi. I worked for Acura for about 6 years and have owned two Legend Coupes: a 1991 black/black LS Auto and a 1992 Cassius/tan LS 5spd. Both were stolen.

For the past 13 years I've been casually looking for another coupe. It had to be black/black, LS, and manual trans. Well, I finally found one and its not all the way on the other end of the country.

I pick up tomorrow a 1992 Legend Coupe LS, black on black, 5spd with 98K miles on it. Its an unmolested, completely stock, own owner car which has been dealer serviced per the maintenance schedule (have the records) and even have the original window sticker. Timing belt and water pump done at 90K.

It needs to minor things: hood struts and VSS (it goes out briefly now and then).

I paid $5500 including tax.

Thanks for the welcomes. PICS ADDED. Yeah the first one was stolen before I could even make a payment on it. Second one was hit by a drunk driver.. fixed. Looked so good (new paint) after being fixed was stolen a week later.

Hopefully 3rd times the charm.

For $5500, you got a great deal. Looks nice in the pic's and 1 owner to boot.
Where, or I should say how, did you locate it?

Thanks guys. The cars I've had since the last Coupe just never compared and I've always gravitated back to it. Whenever I saw a Legend while driving, especially one that was like mine, I just shook my head and cursed out car thieves.

ActionJackson: I found the car on Autoshopper.com. It was also listed on buzztrader.com.

GrtOutdoorsAZ: Thanks. I checked out the thread.. excellent info.

Edify: I have only one mod to do one day: the 16'' 93-95 LS coupe / GS sedan wheels. Oh and a cd changer. Does anyone have any cassettes? I'm going to keep this one pretty much stock. As parts go I might upgrade. Right now though any funds are going to the mods on the '35. I pulled money from that to jump on this Coupe.

Good plan man. I had stock system, then a screen which got stolen, then a regular aftermarket unit, then back to stock. IMO, nothing sounded as good as stock (although the screen was just pimpin'). I actually do play tapes every now and then and they sound amazing, just as good as anything else. Recently put a stock changer in too, which is nice; surprisingly enough it plays CD-R's too, so what more could you ask for.

Welcome to the forum. That coupe looks like pure sex. I'm insanely jealous.
