New Titanium Turn Signal Bulbs...(Pic)
Ok, I think I am gonna try to find these. Just thought I would spread the word. I have been trying forever to find turn signal bulbs that have a silver cover but blink amber, but all I could find was the "Silvervisions", which are expensive and don't even come in the bulb we need. The reason I wanted bulbs with a silver cover is b/c when you put amber bulbs into your clear corners or bumpers, the amber glass refracts, making the corner or bumper appear amber, defeating the purpose of having clears. Refresh my memory, what bulbs do our bumper signals and our corners take? I have bought the wrong bulbs two times at Advance auto parts b/c they gave me the wrong ones. So now I just want yall to tell me what # bulbs I need to buy so I can just tell them and avoid their screwups. Thanks guys.

You can paint your current amber bulbs with a light coat of silver paint, just enough to cover the amber mostly. Then plug them in but do not insert them into the reflector. Instead let them stay turned on you will see some smoke rise up as the paint cures. Then place them in your reflector. You will see now amber bulb but the bulbs have enough power to still flash amber.

won't they still turn amber at night when your lights are on defeating the purpose of getting the silver, or are you strictly getting them for like the daytime look?

I got them at autolamps-online.com
http://autolamps-online.com/products/svcentre.htm To make them fit just sand down one of the prong, the bulb will still lock in place. Had them for over a year and no problems ![]()

Has anyone painted their bulbs silver? And if so what is the best procedure to do so besides the idea of letting it dry by turning it on then install back to normal. Suggestions?
