no change in coolant?
About 3-4 months ago i filled up my colant resevoir 50 % water, 50% coolant but i accidentally poured to much in, way past the max line. anyways since then the coolant in the resevoir hasnt gone down at all. shouldnt it be going down gradually?

Not really..... Coolant is a fluid that pretty much never needs to be topped up (on a well maintainned engine). The only thing it will do is evaporate but its not like oil (in the sense that it is regular to go through oil..... it is not regular to go through coolant)
If you are linking this to a HG problem (??) then you cooling system could be air locked (not syphoning back into the rad) but if that were the case it would be spitting out juice out the top because it never drains back in. Just make sure when your car is cold that you have coolant right up to your neck in the rad. If you can see rad juice in the neck then nothing is wrong. The only problem with filling it too much is that your overflow tank does not have enough room to overflow and will seep out. But that is only if you fill it like an inch from the top of the resevoir and leave it no room for expansion. Hope that was the answer you were looking for./....
