No underhood light?

Does the legend not have an underhood light, or did my car just lose it a long time ago?

You can custom make one. Just gotta find a good place.

Very true, Never thought about this but its a great idea considering the battery is right there as a means of power and a LED or other type of small bright light would be very easily hidden. You could even strap the light itself to industrial strengthvelcro when not in use so that when you want you can move it around to check out other spots on the engine if you ever break down at night. I say wire up your own... would barely cost anything.

I hooked up a pair of cold cathodes on the accord and they are still holding up. I fab'ed up a toggle switch for power and just ran the cords straight to the battery for now. I could, probably should, run it through a fuse in an open fuse box slot, but this was easier and quicker. I also threw a little piece of polycarbonate I picked up off ebay as well.

I ran the tubes length wise across the hood (front to back) along some body supports, then used some hose brackets (half circle looking brackets) to secure them (with slight modification to the bracket).

i've tucked the wires since the picture, just haven't taken any pictures recently, and the car isn't here currently. whats funny is that I was having to fix small things under the hood a lot prior to doing this, and since doing this I haven't had to use the light, the only time i have gotten under the hood recently was for an oil change...
