The OEM keyless entry brain is under the dash on the drivers side. It is in the lower plastic piece that comes off (it has the ignition key hole in it and the strip of optional buttons). If you remove that piece you will see the keyless entry inside of it.

are you needing one or just want to remove yours? and how Litho described it is correct. Remove the lower panel on the driver side, and if you have one it should be under there, i think a somewhat shiny box, with green plugs or the 'female' end of where plugs would go. Good luck!

The opening which you stick your key into is a reset for the service reminder which will change from Green to Red every 7,500 miles. Has nothing to do with the keyless entry system.

Before you remove the panel under the steering wheel, why don't you first determine whether you have an OEM keyless entry system installed? The easiest method is to look at the very bottom edge of the panel on the LT side and see if there are two screws or two plastic screw caps (mine are black in color) about 1.5 inches apart. These screws mount the OEM keyless receiver to the back of the panel. No screws; no OEM keyless.
