Well, the hardest (time consuming) part before pulling the injectors out was cleaning away the sand/oil mixture that had accumulated from my leaking valve cover gasket
and Hollywood beach sand. Without cleaning would be very easy and fast. Here is the before after in the fuel rail: So i've now pulled back the top 3.2L covers and seen whats under them. The drive? Seemed more controled. Seems to stay in gear and speed up stronger, I think before it would feel like it would down shift quicker without first accelerating through the gear. Maybe that makes sence I don't know but I am very happy I did this. It was easy and car is noticably purring better. Did i need to? Well if a pic is worth anything: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() So thats it for now thanks. |

FromaQ:
I would be glad to help. We are having a meet here tomorrow. Hopefully lots of Legends. Mine is in Utah. I will find something to drive. Watch for pictures. As for the suspension and alignment work. We need to find a good shop in your area. Have you read the article that I referenced in other alignment posts? Dave |

Just did the injectors in my NSX wasn't as smooth as I thought it should be. Had injectors cleaned it made a huge difference in how smooth the engine was, don't know about the mileage yet, I still have a long trip coming up to go get the legend.

Im confused......
OK, maybe someone can clarify, cuz Im confused. This service sounds great and all, itll prob be the next thing I do, But at $18 an injector plus shipping that makes it a just over a $100 service. But with the part number kotetu just gave, 06164-P0A-000, acuraoemparts.com sells a set for $106.86 Am I missing something? Do they mean just a set of two? not all six? If its a full set of six, wouldnt the logical thing to do be to just buy a brand spanking new set of OEM injectors instead of cleaning used ones? Just trying to make sense of it.......
Anyone.....??? ![]() |

Since these guys don't ship to Canada anymore, I might have to go the DIY route. Ultrasonic jewellery cleaners should do a similar job of cleaning, on the exterior at least, and cost only $25. I imagine that if I ran a low voltage current through the injector while its in the bath, the inside should clear up as well. Now I just need some cheap injectors to see if the DIY method would work.

interesting idea - if you decide you still want to go the pro route, I have a couple of other company links that might ship to canada.

I just got my injectors back from Witchunter.
I sent them out late monday using priority mail. I called them on Thurs. morning, they were working on them right then, after receiveing them on wed. I asked for express mail for $25, they shipped em out on Thurs. and I received them today (Friday Morning) I would post pics and results but they look very similar to what has already been posted. I'm hella happy, I can't wait to get these installed! BTW: my car had 135,000 miles, and injector balance before: 3.1% After: .9% They replaced the O-rings, Filters, Seals, Grommets - damn things look brand new! BTW: Use dielectric grease to lubricate your o-rings. since Oil and other petroleum substances will eat away at the rubber......if you want your rings/seals to last then this dielectric grease is your friend.
