one to many problems

the time has come, my 94 has cuased me one too many problems. since i purchased it almost 4 years ago it has been in and out of the shop each year, from minor electrical bull**** to now being in the shop to replace some ignition relay or something or it might even be the fuel pump. im tired of all the money ive been trying to save to modify my baybee and then having to put the money to repair all the problems. im not going to sell my car, i cant its a legend. it might just be the car i bought but now since my car has 125k its been acting up alot. i dont know if other experience this but this **** sucks. now its time to get another ac coupe, thinking of getting a cl s, anyone know if there are any problems with the cl s?

If it's auto...you have to worry about the tranny!! Other than that...I haven't really heard of any.

CL and TL have transmission problems, although there is now a warranty on the trannies to 100k. The problem also affects some other cars with the J block, I think the oddysey and accord v6. But anyways the trannies crap out and do wierd things like downshift while cruising. Its even caused several accidents that I've heard of. Theres plenty of info about this available, just go to any TL/CL forum, like those at acuraworld.com.

Even with the extended warrenty I wouldn't touch a CL-S or TL-S. On each forum for those cars, it's easy to find people that have had the transmissions replaced several times. I don't know what in the world went wrong on those cars, but boy what a horrible mess (and a shame) for Acura
