I bought a new oxygen sensor because the RPMs are at 2000 all the time and it is killing my brakes and gas. the new sensor has different color wires and it did not come with the connector, the instructions say to find out which wires are (ground)(heater power or ground)(signal)(heater power or ground) on the old one. the new colors are white, white, grey, and black. the old one is black, black, white, and green.
I dont know if this was a bad idea but i wired it like this:
2 black wires connected to 2 white wires.
1 white wire to 1 black wire
and the green wire to the grey wire.
it was the only thing that made sense to me. any ideas? please help!
