That was the thread i originally looked at to get the idea. I was able to remove all the nuts connecting the headlight to the frame. But once i did that the headlights would not come off because it was too big? help?

you have to take off the entire bumper first

then there are nuts holding the headlights in. 3 on top i think and one or 2 on the sides and bottom. keep looking around and u will be able to find them all and take the lights out. you need to take the whole headlight unit out. don't forget to unplug the lights, be careful with the wires.

let me know if u have any more questions.

It's probably due to some of the bumper being fiberglass. It's not metal. I was installing fogs and had the same thing happen to my hands. It is best to wear gloves, but harder to do some things with gloves on.

When i took my bumper off, I just cut the tie-wraps that held it on.

Naw seriously tho, I think the legendtuner site has a how-to thing. if not, the hayes is good.

i am a big fan of the chrome look.

When you paint the bezel, the corners look so awkward....they will stick out. if you have one-piecers, you can paint and it'll look sweet.

unfortunately, once you paint, you will never find a paint to replace that factory mirror chrome finish.

I'd leave it chrome...but if u want to paint, go black.

AngelaTheLegend: if you want to go back to the stock chrome look after, you can always buy bezels from a junkyard or someone on the forum. I got some from James S for about $30

yea, thats exactly what i had to do because i had some damage to the pass. side. It just was a little bit of a problem finding them (i guess there are more of the coupe than the sedans), but i eventually found them. and its lookin good again.

Holy ancient thread batman. Is it just me or is this happening a lot more often recently then I remember it happening? Maybe I'm just bored and paying too much attention... this is what we get for stressing the search feature!

Dv8 had it done on his one piecers as per his post in this thread so... yes.
