performance comparison 04 accord, g2 legend

Just curious, checked out a new 6 speed accord coupe today and liked it. What are some of the performance comparisons between the type 1 coupe and the new accord. I know the accord is 3.0 vtec, has a 6 speed, and comes stock with 240 hp. But does that make it that much better than my 92 auto coupe?

My ex-girlfriend bought an o4 Accord auto v6 and it feels much faster than my coupe when it was stock.

My favorite part about the o4 Accord coupe is that it'll smoke us stock and still yield 30mpg on the
freeway

What are the 1/4 times for a stock o4 Accord coupe?

I'd like to know this too. The only performance specs i've found so far is a 0-60 time of 6.5 seconds (sedan). I haven't found anything on the coupe yet.

I've had a chance to check a couple out in a parking lot. Slick car for sure. I would have it as a daily driver if I could afford it. It would be fun to drive and quick too, but soon everyone will have one. The best thing about our Legends is how unique they are, that's why I will be keeping mine until the doors fall off.

my friend had a v6 accord coupe. He sold it for an Evo VIII. Regardless of that, when he had 19s on it, he still ran a 14.5

all he had was a cold air.

0-60 in 6.2, 1/4 in 14.5....that just straight out hammers most any Legend......

oh yeah, don't forget Comptech has a S/C for that, so it would be more like 0-60 in 5.5-5.7 and the 1/4 in 13.5-13.8 with a S/C....plus the Accord looks hot on the inside and would probably look good on 20's with a nice body kit....the Accord looks kinda bland on the outside, but would look hot with a reserved body kit

Don't get the lowest trim level though. One of my co-worker has one, and I beleive it's the lowest trim level. I don't know for sure, but for some reason, it looks crappy compared to the other coupes I saw.

I think when getting a new car or such, get the highest trim level, or else you'll regret it later. Alot of people around me bought brand new cars, but they all are crappy because they went cheap on it. And eventually they realized that they regret not getting the best.

that really depends on the person. I just bought a 2004 echo hatchback(canada only) for $12500. If I had loaded it up, it would have hit $18000, and that's without power windows. for me a $12500 brand new toyota is a great buy. and it's actually made in japan.

reminds me of my crx really. 2050lbs/ 108bhp.

I agree on anything that you're going to spend more than 20-25 K on, you should get the highest trim level though.

Here are the performance specs for the EX V6 6MT straight from Car and Driver:
Zero to 60 mph: 5.9 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 15.2 sec
Zero to 130 mph: 31.1 sec
Street start, 5-60 mph: 6.3 sec
Standing 1/4-mile: 14.5 sec @ 98 mph

And that 240 hp rating from Honda is a very conservative. I've seen dyno charts showing that the actual hp is closer to 250-255.
