Phase 2 Interior.. Need advice.. Pics!
so im starting work on phase 2... started with the sound system first since im riping up stuff drilling holes.. ect... I was wondering whats the best way to remove the back seat, I read the service manual on it little confused.. does it just unbolts and i can pull it out the back 2 doors?? any advice with the sound system? I was told i may need a bigger alt, but i think im fine.
What I have: 1 12" Diamond Sound sub 1 phoenix gold OCTANE R 15.0:1 (Sub 2 Not Functional yet) 1 phoenix gold OCTANE R 5.0:4 (Main Speakers, Not Hooked up) 1 phoenix gold OCTANE R 8.0:1 (Sub 1 Fuctional) A butt load of wires,fuses and audio cables Capcitor Sony 6x5 and 6x9 speakers I bought this setup above me to test out the sound make sure thats what i really wanted. (all stuff is brand new) What i plan to get(next 30 days): 2 phoenix gold OCTANE R 15.0:1 2 12" Diamond Sound sub 2 Mb Quart 6.5 speakers with seprate tweeters 2 Mb Quart 6x9 speakers Plan to build a custom box, one for the subs and one for the amps Kenwood or Alpine Indash 6.5" LCD mp3/cdr/cdrw/dvd Replace the plastic trim the burlwood and the shift knob with the mdx burlwood knob Optima Yellow Battery I was also told that i need to run another power cord besides the one i have now running though the driver side. Maybe though the passanger side. I have 4 gadge wires right now. If i really get any bigger i may not be able to tuck the wires underneath anymore, hard enough with the 4 gadge ![]() Pics of current setup

regarding about power cable requirement, 4 gauge will be fine, seeing as your using around 1400watts RMS MAX. but if you want you can run a 2gauge wire(just one) that will work to.
i was running around 1500watts rms at one point with 4gauge and it was fine. and still am running it with 4 AWG just diff setup. besides that, your setup looks good.

I would try to clean up the wires a bit. It looks a bit messy. Nice equipment though.

ya as i said those picture are my testers, I wanted to see what i would sound like before i bought anything else... Now another thing i hooked up the 2 back speakers to the 5:0.1 Amp but now i have this very loud wining sound , which is like noise from the motor and alt.... Anyway to get rid of this?
