You do have to run an amp because the head unit doesn't put out near enough wattage to get a good sound. I also recommend always amplifying your speakers. An amp can make speakers worth the while.

All the music is played off of the ipod which has 30gb of space. The headunit itself plays pretty much anything out right now including DVD's and giga DVD's ( mp3's on a dvd ). Very little trimming is needed to install the headunit into our cars, it was designed for double din cars

sounds good right now but will sound 100x better once I get the PXa H701 processor which will allow my to really tweak the system. the processor has time correction, xovers and a 31 band digital eq which I can control through the touch screen monitor in the car.....
