Pics of coolant lines in back of and front of engine!

This is most of the lines that could possibly leak and cause a air problem, or "worse". You can tell the ones that were replaced, including the heater valve!

Can someone tell me? There is a hose down along the passenger side of the motor, that looks like a tranny line. You can actually see it in the bottom pic. It's next to those three small lines just to the right of them, not the one they are covering. Does this hold coolant or ATF???????

Can't tell which one you're referring to. I think the ATF lines are located on the driver side.
Could be the power steering fluid hose?

By the way, how long did it take you to tear it apart? I am doing my heads, and I haven't taken out the exhaust. I already broke one bolt off the exhaust cover.

Thanks, as a matter of fact that might not even be THE one, nevermind. I think I'll look at the online manual, thanks anyway!

Al, I don't know yet, they sent them to a macine shop that checked them before. The guy said he could tell they had gotten pretty hot. He was going to check for warpage, and if they were then resurface and re-install. I told my mechanic, I want them tested for cracks as well. So they will get sent to the twin cities next and pressure tested for cracks. If they need resurfacing, and they find no cracks, I'm praying that's all it was and hope the block's good to go. (No cracks).

My mechanic checked the block over real good, turning engine over an inspecting the full length of each cylinder, and found nothing obvious so, I just hope the fricken heads show some kind of a problem,or we're at a loss for the cause!
