Pics of plastic guages that light up on legend.
Well I installed my guages and reconnected everything correctly.
I painted the needles red. I also installed a carbon fiber guage bezel. Night time pics soon to come. And yes I do need some gas. And yes that is the actual mileage but she runs like smooth as a baby bottom. Last edited by Pito11213 : 05-13-06 at 11:00 PM. Reason: Wrong title |

Haha funny.
When you see all the guages lit up with the interior you will see the balance my friend. I like the guages because they are not white during the day they are a darker silver so they dont look like over kill. At night the appropriate thing light up so it blend nicely with the red and blue climate controls. I have been thinking of putting my double din radio that nobody wants to buy back in just for the lighting. |

I really like the carbon fiber bezel. And, of course I like Mugen anything, but I wonder why they chose those colors. The three primary colors, looks like kids toys. Oh well, they are still pretty cool.

Well when you see the night pics you will see that the yellow that everyone is talking about really matches the oem lights in the key hole ring and the light behind the cruise control and such.
The one that I have installed like I said are silver faced and look real good during the day. I painted the needles red using red spray paint from Home Depot. I masked off the cluster and sprayed away. I tried using double sided tape to mount the guages but that actually made the needles stick when I removed the tape and just put everything back together like it belonged everything worked beautifully. I also solved my dimmer issue. Do not use the courtesy light switch for power. I ended up using a wire that was hooked up to the parking lights. By the way I got these by doing a search on ebay. |

I know it's been stated, I just want to detail it. Mugen does not make gauge face covers (sorry, I don't know what those are actually called). Mugen only makes complete gauge clusters, complete speedometers, complete tachometers or cluster bezels. Here is a good example of a Mugen speedometer (I have it on auction, right now...for the Integra)...
![]() ![]() No flashy colors, just a uselful 270km/h speedometer (not sure where you would have the chance to go that fast, but ok...) |
