Lightbulb PIX: IS300 lip spoiler

This is just an FYI for those who want to try this out.

3cm X 115cm I believe.

Not sure about the sedans, it came up short for my coupe when I measure it against my coworker's IS unless I go with an M5 lip.

I have an E46 M3 lip for my car. For the car I'm using it on, the stock spoiler measured 46" which the E46 lip also measures, however, due to the M3 lip being more cureved, when you straighten it out it grew and I actually had to trim it down. The replica for the IS300 measured 45 1/2" according to the seller and so that would be a better fit for me. The trick is to measure the Legend trunk, then see if the BMW replica M lip is more cureved than the Legend or not. It it is, it will get longer. If the contour is close than it may be perfect. The E36 replica M lip measured a little over 46", so there are many to choose from to get the best and closest fit.

Do you have a coupe or a sedan? If you have a sedan, do you have any pictures?

Sedan's trunk lid is wider than the coupe's...about 4" if I remember correctly.

Then the IS lip is definately out of the question coming up about 8" too short. I re-measure my coupe lid along the curvature and it came out to be almost 48" wide.

Mine is not on a Legend but used for another car. IF the Legend trunk is that much longer than maybe one of those other M# replica lips for other cars will work. I've seen them for the Camry, Accord and a bunch of other cars.

I think the E36 lip might be a close fit. I forget exactly how long it is, but it was a little over 46" maybe even 48". If that is the case you probably will have to trim it down a bit as it will be a little longer once straight. In fact, if I remember maybe Mike C had an E36 lip and told me it did overhang a bit once straight.

Damn, I must have went brain dead yesterday, LOL. I specifically went to the WALD site looking for that picture to post, and I go ask who makes it, LOL!

Anywho, I wonder if it'll fit our Legends... hrm.

Hass, I like your spoiler, but only if it was shorter. You know... with out the overhang on the sides. I like the ducktail look.
