hmmmmmm... I will try to call K&N tomorrow and see if i could get in contact with the tech people regarding the longer filter bodies. I will also inquire maybe a possible group buy if everyone buys maybe 10 or 20 filters per person to get a reduced price. This may be a possibility. 10 filters = 30,000 miles, 20 filters = 60,000 (oil change every 3 thousand miles) that way you may never need to buy filters for a very long time depending on your driving habits.

They may not do it because they only sell to retailers but it wouldnt hurt to ask though

ok i just got off the phone with one of the tech representatives who handles customer inquires and he is well aware of the product request for the acura legend filters (as of today lol). You guys did a awesome job but we still need more request. i also made him aware of how the nsx and legend filters are interchangable and that the only difference is that the nsx has the long body filter. I requested that they make only a long body filter since the dealer doesnt sell it anymore and he made note of it and is sending it over to the tech designers. BUT WE STILL NEED MORE PEOPLE. Come on guys we generated a buzz and i think we may be getting closer to getting what we all want. Keep up the good work.

Ive never heard of a "drop in" OIL filter....unless you mean the old cartridge style filter that my 87 sedan has...but 87 was the last year for that style filter on the Legend...
