poly-urethane bushings

everyone is always praising the improvement and need to change bushings, and usually quickly promote getting polyurethane ones. well, not only am i having trouble finding bushings (for instance acura of augusta will only sell me the sway bar bushings along w/the links), but finding poly-u for the legend seems impossible. can anyone here help me out w/this? i'm hoping to change all bushings this weekend (perhaps if i can find a kit).

thanks!

There is no kit for the legend. I remember a few years ago someone was talking about pulling all bushings from his ride and sending them to some place like Energy Suspension in hopes they could match parts from their existing inventory to our application. I don't think anything ever came of this though....

I ended up buying a second hand pair of lower control arms($100pair), and had a suspension place meassure up a set of bushes.

Rides fine now.

Hope this helps

I wonder if someone who has a project legend would be willing to pull their rubber bits and send them to a suspension place to find and collect the parts needed to do a full poly swap.

Mike Diaz comes to mind..... since he has two Legends and one always seems to be in the shop!

That's what I'm talking about - if we could figure out what rubber parts from our suspension is shared with more common honda models, we could likely find retailers who could provide us with the parts since they likely sell kits for cars like accords, preludes, NSX, etc.

It is likely that companies like energy suspension have all the parts we need, but just don't know it.
