Question about buying new rims
Hey guys, I have a 1993 Legend coupe. I am interested in putting some aftermarket rims on it. I have never bought rims before. Frankly I don't know sh*t about them. I know that my legend has 16" rims with 5 lugs (standard rims that came with car). My tire size is 225/60/16. Can anyone tell me what my offset is? Can you tell me any other information that I might need to know to purchase new rims. I found some 17" rims that I love. What will going to 17" rims do to my tach. and speedometer? Do I have to buy different tires to make up for the rim size difference? I am going to purchase new tires with the rims anyway! Any and all info would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!!

The search button is your friend!!
These links should help you out somewhat: I think I've decided what rims I want...but will they fit? lowered with 18"s, is it possible? FYI: I have 17s. yes you will need a different tire. Tires from a 16 inch wheel will not fit on a 17 inch wheel. As the links I posted above will probably state, keep the offset of the wheel in mind as well. ![]()
