Question about chrome exhaust tips.

I was thinking about putting chrome exhaust tips on my Legend Coupe. I wanted something with dual tips that are almost square, but with the corners rounded off. I like the ones on the Remus muffler, but they don't sell just the tips, and I really don't want to change the muffler.

Anyone have any ideas/suggestions/pictures? Thanks in advance.

I spent a long time looking and never saw square tips that would fit. But if you go to Pep Boys they have a better selection than most, and for $20 you can get 2 nice round tips that look good and fit great.

Thanks Stu. There's a Pep Boys store on my way home, so I'll check there. I stopped by Advance Auto Parts at lunchtime, but they really didn't have anything that I liked. Hopefully I'll see something at Pep Boys.

This forum has been an awesome source of information.

Cheers.

If you want, I will go look for the website where they sell em. Or if you email the seller, he'll send u the link. Hope that helps.

Are the actual tips shaped like the factory tips? In those pics they're just round, not really squared. Are there any shaped like the stock tips? I've looked at autozone but they only have 1 thats really thick and large.

That's the reason that I couldn't find anything at Pep Boys. all of the connectors were round. In fact I found a nice set of square tips with the rounded corners. Exactly the look I was going for, but the area where they connected was round.

I think I'm going to order a set from the link above. They look pretty good actually.

If you email them first they can probably do better on the price than 40 plus shipping....email and work something out.

the ones I got a Pep Boys are round and fit very tightly over the OEM exhaust. What I liked most about them is they are long enough so that when they are installed you cant see the screws that hold the chrome tips onto the exhaust. And ya cant beat the price .... $20 for the pair !

Well I decided against getting just tips. Instead, I'm getting ready to order a Remus muffler, with the square tips...similar to what I saw on another forum member's car.
