Questions Please Answer!

hey everyone i was wonderin if the guys at this forum could help answer some questions, i have a 93` legend sedan and i was lookin at all these bad ass legends but when i look at mine it looks like crap lol. then i realized that the front bumpers i see on most cars differ from mine for example

this is how my front bumper looks like :

but i want it to look like this ...not focusing on how bad ass the car is tho, i mean just the bumper itself, see how it doesnt have that black strip part on the bottom like the sedan above did ? its all one color and stuff

so does anyone know if thats a body kit ? or is it just that sedans haave that black strip, and that COUPES have different front bumpers ?

also what kind of corner light is that ? the clear one nex to the main headers, i mean i want to get it, instead of keepin my stock yellow corner lights.

if any LEGEND specialists could help answer these questions it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

1. Coupes and sedans have different bumpers
a) Some coupes have the trim pieces painted from the factory and some don't.
b) You can have yours painted by a body shop.
2. The corner light he's using are the readily available "APC" type clear corners. Cost about $30-$40 at online stores and ebay. You'll have to buy the sedan specific ones.

Just for reference, I had the lower trim pieces painted on my sedans.

You will notice also that my bumpers are different from yours. The style was changed in '94.

Also the front bumper on that 91 coupe is actually from a 94-95 coupe. He had it put on and also had the black bottom trim on the sides of the car painted too. Just FYI.

WOW-that red coupe is great. oh wait. It's mine.

-Yes, it is a 94-95 coupe bumper.
-My corners are NOT APC corners-They are EDM-more rare and harder to find.
-You can have the lower trim of your Legend painted and improve the look A LOT.
-If you wanted your sedan to look more like LegendGS's sedan, get a 94-95 sedan bumper and have your sideskirts painted.

Yeah, I think it was the lighting in that particular pic. The sun made the EDM corner look "lighter" than it actually is.

Coupe and sedan bumpers are not interchangeable without A LOT of work. I don't think anyone has ever put a coupe bumper on a sedan. There was a coupe on E-bay once that had a sedan bumper, but who knows, they could have held it on with bunge cords.

Oh and sideskirts are the portion of the car at the bottom, the black plastic portion.

The 94-95 Sedan bumper is what LegendGS posted, except he has his sideskirts painted.

Those are not just corner lights, those are JDM 1-piece headlights, cutom grille, and custom amber bumper lights. The sideskirts on that Legend might not be painted, just the dark color and the lighting make it look that way.

The look of your ride will improve dramatically if you do the following things:

94-95 SEDAN Bumper
Painted Sideskirts and the front lower lip of the new bumper
Clear corner lights
Clear Bumper turn signals

Start out with those things and you'll be on your way.
