R134a recharge kit does not fit!!!

Hey guys,
I tried recharging my AC this weekend with a kit from Autozone - the Qwest recharge kit. Well the damn plastic thing at the end of the hose did not fit me low side port and was letting pressure out...Any thoughts on what AC recharge system I should purchase next?
Thanks

With those re-charge kits, you should have gotten a bag of small fittings. Those fittings replace the stock fittings and allow you to use the new R134 kit.....Find the fittings and you should be good

Thanks man,
Yeah, I was a little confused as to how a piece of plastic was gonna hold in all that pressure....
I will start looking for a metal one...
