Rarest OEM color on a Legend?

I've heard comments about the Desert Mist, then the Blk/blk and white/blk but I am refering to the rarest "Exterior Color" and I don't think it's Desert Mist.

From what the Newbie FAQ says, and I could swear I have seen one "ONCE", there was a Dark Blue Legend. "Twilight Blue Pearl".

Has anyone seen these much? I don't believe I have ever seen one for sale and it seems to me this would be the "Rarest" color.

That's what the "Twilight Blue Pearl" is. I'm not sure how many years it was produced.

I know if I found one in a GS or '93+ coupe I would be doing everything I could to find a way to buy it.

Twilight Blue is not dark, its light. Its not Pearl either, its Metallic. (91-93)

The dark blue is the Cobalt, if you buy some of the same sales brochures that I have you'll see what they look like on the Legend...

As for the rarest, I don't know...I've seen the Twilight Blue Metallic in person but never have I seen a few others up close...such as these stock Acura Legend colors:
  • Golden Glow Pearl
  • Cobalt Blue Pearl
  • Geneva Green Pearl
  • Rosewood Brown Metallic
  • Garnet Red Pearl

More pics to come once I get my alter-ego to take em.

Okay, I had my color names mixed up then it would "Cobalt Blue". I seriously thought the dark blue was the twilight due to that reference.

I've seen Geneva Green Pearl, Garnet Red Pearl (94 L only I believe), and I believe I've seen the Golden Glow.

I didn't even know there was a brown.

I would say 2006 TL Anthracite:

Of course, I assume you meant OEM Legend color. In which case, I'd have to say Geneva Green - I don't know if I've ever seen one of them.

I've never seen Geneva Green either. I have seen one brown, passed him on a freeway in Kentucky and did the 'Legend thumbs up'

Yeah, Geneva Green Legends seem to be seen the least. Still, this thread makes me "lol", just because its rare doesn't mean its desirable (Cough-SpecialEditionLegend-Cough). Any Coupe with black interior and a six speed tranny will always be the most sought after Legend. Period.

Rosewood Brown is actually pretty common. See them all the time and that's the color of my Sedan. That dark gray almost black color that Kenso's Coupe has, I've never seen anywhere else.

Ahh yes, Charcoal Granite Metallic. I had a '91 L coupe in that color and it was great. It does seem pretty rare. I used to think Desert Mist was rare, but lately we're seeing a lot of it. I'd have to say the Twilight Blue Metallic (arnach's car comes to mind) or the Garnet Red Pearl would be the rarest. I will have to consult my brochures to see which colors were only offered in limited years. I know that TBM was only a 91-92 offering.
