Question RE: Iggee seat covers info

Hi,

Has anyone recently bought / installed Iggee seat covers, like those that are for sale on eBay?

I am thinking of buying these for the front and rear seats.

You all have cars like mine that are now over 10 years old, I would assume most of you do not want to spend >$600 plus installation on real leather replacements. So what have you done to deal with the original seat leather going bad issue?

I did a search of Acura-Legend and it seem most are happy with Iggee.

I am specifically looking for any critisms of these seat covers, or reassurances that these are not going to look like cheap crap, like those god awfull neoprene things.

Thanks in advance for any useful commentary.

Regards,

Brian

My seats were in BAD shape when I first got my legend there was a tear on the drivers side exposing the cusion lots of cracks but anyways I ordered the Iggee's and put them on and man they look great! They look very close to regular seats..basically if you don't say anything no one will tell they are covers unless they take a close inspection. I only covered the front too lazy to do the back right now.

I had trouble putting them on though the two front seats took at least 2 hours and a couple of zip strips. They give you some hooks to secure the cover in place but as a heads up find some place secure to hook them (sweaty hands is a no no) one of them came loose and came flying at my arm and branded me for a few days

Anyways they are a good investment until you save up for a permanent replacement

I've got a set of black ones for the front for my coupe. Never installed them. I was surprised that the back and sides are stetch nylon or something. My drivers seat is getting new leather for $400.00 now. I'll sell the iggee seat covers if any one needs black. I think they will look better than tore up leather from a distance but up close not to sure. PM me if anyone wants a set.

Blondie has Iggeee

I got the two-tone black and beige Iggee's. The interior on her is beige, the color is a nice match. I bet the back seat would be nice in the two tone too, but i dont want to fork over another 130 bux since my rear seats are already decent. The initial 80 or 90 was enough for me.

No complaints then those already listed. (harder install then most cars due to power seats, and the backs/sides are not the synthetic leather as they may lead you to beleive). They do slide around, but its VERY minimal and need some adjustment every few months.

They do not look like crap.

Supposed to fit 86-95 legend and vigors. Thats what it says on the box. Should fit coupe or sedan. Check pics in the aftermarket sale section.
