Question Rear Brake Light indicator on?

Hey guys,

My rear break light indicator light has lit up on my dash. I checked all the rear lights and they are working fine. I don't know why this is happening.. Is this b/c of a fuse problem or what?

You mean the trunk light?
Is your battery also draining by any chance?

Pop your trunk, see if the light in the trunk comes on when it opens, if it doesn't, perhaps the metal contact in the switch (it's a little metal strip contact) is in the wrong position...sometimes it "jumps" over it's proper position.. causing it to work in reverse order

mine did the same thing and i seemed like all the lights were good but after a very close inspection one of the filaments on one of the bulbs was damaged but not totally blown so it wouldnt come on when i turned my car on, but it automatically turned on as soon as i pressed the brake once.
take a closer look at all of the bulbs any that look iffy, swap it out thats what i did and the light hasnt come back on since

Are we talking about the "brake lamp" means "Tail lights",then it could be:

1.All types of legends (G1 & G2) have a sensor (located in the tail light housing, left & right side), to keep inform you, that the bulps are ok. Go to your local Honda/Acura dealer and ask them to give you a copy of the appropriate wiring diagram to check your brake sensor. Or try to get a Helms manual
