refrigerant oil? (searched)

guys, Do you know what the OEM Pag OIL viscocity is? I think its 46 but I am not sure.

Also, Is there an easy way to drain a compressor that is already in the system? I was going to pull off the lines and put on new o-rings.

I have a 94 GS that has a leaking high side port. I bought the whole line with pressure switch, a new receiver/drier/ and want to drian most of the oil out of the system becouse I used a quick fix shot can with esteroil and dont like mixing the oils.
Thanks,
Mike

Since you are going o open up the system you can take the compressor off and pull off the flat plate. You can then turn it by hand to take out most of it and then drain the rest open side down overnight.
check out http://www.ackits.com/for parts and specs.

Pag Oil Viscosity (ndoil8)

Yes, Mike the proper OIL VISCOSITY IS PAG 46. (NDOIL8) is the OEM equivalent that is listed under the hood and in your owner's Manual.
