REMUS Exhaust Status With US Distributor

CEC is the exclusive US distributor of the Remus exhaust. Just recently CEC dropped Remus from their product line. I emailed CEC to see if they had the Acura Legend Remus Exhaust in stock and they emailed me back saying that Remus had discontinued producing it. I found it hard to believe, so I emailed Remus directly, and they emailed me back saying that they do still make the Remus Exhaust for the Acura Legend. They also told me that the new US distributor for REMUS is: REMUS USA (aka B&M Racing) www.remus-usa.com. Apparently, the contract between CEC and Remus ends April 1, 2003 and this is when the new distributor will be starting to take orders. So, there is still hope in getting the Remus for our Legends. I have a few people looking into this further for me, so I will keep everyone posted.

I just want to say thanks for doing so much research on the exhaust, I really didn't want to settle for any other.

Much appreciated.

No problem bud. I am a huge Remus fan, and like you, really don't want to settle for any other exhaust. I called Discount Tire Direct today looking for a Remus exhaust and Andre, their exhaust expert who also owns an Acura Legend and has a Remus, told me that out of all the Remus applications they sell, the Acura Legend application sells the most. That says a lot right there .

Yes, that is correct. They are receiving a large container (sounds like a 40' container) from Remus in about 3-4 weeks. However, they are not sure if there are any Remus exhausts for the Acura Legend on it. They will not know for sure until it arrives. Also, we will not be able to purchase it directly through them. We will have to go through the companies that buy from them. I have someone acting on this matter for me on Monday in person at B&M, possibly Tuesday at the latest. He will let me know what he can find out, estimated time of arrivals, etc. Again, I will keep everyone posted.
