Repairs Done Today...

Things Done Today:

Wheel Alignment
Tire Balance
Front Boots
Vehicle Speed Sensor
HondaATF
Power Steering Flush
Disc Machined (Leveled)
A/C Fixed (was just a small fuse)

My car feels so so much better now, solid all around. Shifting is much better with HondaATF, this is the 2nd time I use HondaATF (I did with my 1990 Legend too) the difference is AMAZING.. shifting is smooth now. Now I can tell what speed I'm really going again, braking is much better, no more shimmy, just plain solid!

Now that I have most things fixed, I can start picking out other things, example one:

-RPMs fluctuate slightly when traveling at lower speeds, I don't actually feel any difference in the car when it does, but still, I can see it fluctuate at lower RPMs a little.

-I know our cars aren't too great on fuel, but today I drove, 120miles I think, and my tank went from completely full, to a little above halfway, is this normal? I wasn't driving that aggresively etiher, D4 highway.

-Slight shake every once in the while when idling, as if the fuel isn't being supplied smoothly. It's only SLIGHTLY noticable.

Maybe I should try some BG44k for the fuel injectors? Haven't checked the Air Filter either...

-Weird metallic type of rattle or creek noise coming from underneath the car somewhere, sounds like something is loose, heatshield looked fine when I lifted the car the other day...not sure if that's it.

Did you reset your ECU?
If not, this is a probability since your VSS was telling your ECU that you were going 90mph then 20 then 100 then 65. So it is probably still in that mode.....pull the ECU fuse for 30 seconds or your (-) cabel on the battery --- make sure you have the code to your radio.

Thats good to hear Future. The mileage you got on half a tank is pretty good. I also get that slight shake when i'm sitting at a light but i'm gonna take my car to a friend of mines who works at the Acura Dealership and have him look at a few things for me.

The FIRST thing I did after all the repairs was pull the ECU fuse for 30seconds, so that's not it. (This is how I also discovered my A/C fuse was out, and not the whole system)

What does the Vehicle Speed Sensor do and how did it affect your car?
Thanks
