RPM's at start up - what is yours?

I am just wondering if my RPM's are normal?

I timed my rpm's this morning - all rpms are while in Park & it was approximately 40 degrees outside

1700 rpm @ start up
1250 rpm @ 1 min 30 secs
1000 rpm @ 3 minutes
900 rpm @ 5 minutes

Eventually, the rpms settle down to 650-700.

Thanks.
.

Mine starts off at 2000 rpm and takes about a couple of minutes to settle down to under 1K. Usually it takes longer if its cold outside, sometimes as long as 5 minutes. I tried to adjust my IACV but couldnt get the cover off, thanks to my feeble arms.

All autos?^

My auto was a little high under cold conditions, but the manual I have now is quite a bit lower. But that is normal.

1500 rpm @ start up
1250 rpm @ 1 min 30 secs
1000 rpm @ 3 minutes
900 rpm @ 5 minutes

then after 10 minutes it usually idles at the 0-100 mark (really quite, sometimes i think the car is off) is that good for the car. Also one time it was idling at the 0-100 mark and shut off while at a stop light, is that a problem.

Your rmp is a little higher than mine @ start up:

1250 rmp @ start up
900 rmp @ 2 min
650 -700 rmp @ 4 min 20 secs and settles

I know this is summer time, but in winter time my rmp @ start up was almost the same as yours.

It's all normal.
