Have you tried craigslist.org? They have some really good deals on there every now and then. Also, I wouldn't look at any car before I run the VIN number on it...it saves you the surprises later on, not to mention a load of time. Not saying that Carfax is COMPLETELY reliable, but it will save you a lot of time.

i know of a legend around me that is being sold for about 2g's it's a 95 coupe with i think about 120k miles on it. 6spd with black leather i think. the body color is hunter green, and has no dents, dings, or scratches. It's located in lakewood WA.

Just check the newspapers, autotrader, and craigslist. You SHOULD have some luck there. Mines for sale, but is no where near 3k. |

You need to consider your level of repair experience or potential maintenance costs when seeking a used vehicle. The Legend is now 10 yrs old or older. This means than many parts/components are very close to or have reached the end of their service life. Repair costs could become a major factor.
Suggest you seek the newest Asian manufactured vehicle you can afford. This may mean a non-luxury vehicle; ex. Integra, Sentra, Corolla. Buying a newer and less expensive vehicle will result in less overall cost.
