So here's the dilema, I own and love my 94 legend coupe! It's the best conditioned Legend I have ever seen, much less owned. I love the car, but am moving from Hawaii to the mainland and it would cost over $1000 to ship the car.
I'm going to get a newer car when I get back to Cali, but am having a hard time parting with the Legend. I figure I can keep it as a second car for a while, then give it to my niece as a graduation present (and of course keep the Legend close by). I've listed the car for sale to see what type of response I get, but am still deciding what to do. Here is the link: http://honolulu.craigslist.org/oah/car/547299111.html Let me know what you guys think of the pricing and what I should do, keep or sell? |

Very clean car: I've asked for $8k and hoped for $7k.
I think I'd pay to ship it to be honest.

That's a sweet car. Hang onto it. You'd be hard-pressed to find another one with similar mileage and condition. Best of luck with your move, and let me know what kind of deals you find on shipping. One of these days I'm shipping my car to Hawaii for a loop around Oahu. I'm serious. I'm thinking about retiring it there after hitting up the other 49 states...

Ship it man...if you do decide to sell it later on you'll have a much broader market! Although personally I wouldn't sell such a minty Legend!

god what a beauty. if you cant sell it and get way more than your askin like 9k ship it cause you could easily get a discount transport. my buddy spent 750 to send his truck. and whats that to having a nice car you alrady own and have no payments on.

think the board has spoken, and although I have gotten some bites, I don't feel comfortable letting her go to someone who's not going to appreciate her as much as me
The shipping is going to be $1000 (confirmed) and take two weeks. The bay area has quite a few fans and think if I decide to sell it, then someone that'll appreciate her as much as I do, will show up. Now the next question is, I'm thinking of getting some 18s and lowering the car a bit for a more sporty look...but that's all the modifications I would do. Still have a few weeks to see if there are any buyers that meet the requirement. will keep everyone posted. |
