Shaved Front Bumper Lights ??

If I shaved the bumper lights how would I get acess to remove the front bumper?

I want to do this on a 91-93 Coupe bumper. I know Jason (takemorepills) did this on his 94/95 sedan bumper but al the pic links are dead.

Anyone else attempted to do this mod yet?

Mike Diaz did...

I guesss you could just use 2 bolts to hold the bumper on.

I plan on doing this on my 94-95 sedan bumper. Haven't figured out a way to bolt on the bumper yet.

i was thinking of doing the same, as was roger. but the same thing held me back, you cant access the two bolts once u shave it. and holding the whole bmper with just the bottom screws wont look right.

I don't think this will work for our cars Thai because we only have those two bolts holding the bumper in place. The sedans for some reason have 4 bolts holding their bumpers in place, I was thinking about doing this also, but it seems pretty impossible.

With the right amount of money and the right attitude, anything is possible.

Mike Diaz shaved the bumper lights on his coupe, why not just ask him how he did it? I'm sure you could figure out another way to secure the bumper-maybe from inside the engine bay?

It's easy. To install the front bumper, you have to remove the front part of the inner fender liners. Reach up there with a 12mm gear wrench and tighten the bolt while holding the bumper in place. You're going to have to bend your arm in uncomfortable ways, but it's not impossible. I've had my bumper off 3 times since I shaved the lights and it's about to come off again for paint.
