She's home

A while back a posted a thread about starting my Legend after sitting for 1+ years. We she started right up on the first try, idled for ~8 seconds and stalled. Started her up again and she hasn't stalled since. She drove home nice, minus the flat spots on the tires. I've taken her out every weekend since though.

So she's home.

Now I need to get her to pass inspection. She has NY inspection stickers from 3 years ago on her and NJ tags. I fixed my busted rear tail light (thanks hotlavaflow), and found my fog lights shorted out and blew a fuse. The last thing I was debating on doing before trying to pass inspection was replacing the original 16 year old cat, since I am fairly certain that after 16 years the thing is dead.

Feels damn good to have her back home

I really don't have many pictures. I just brought her home and washed her. Took these two pictures:

The engine is quite dirty in that picture too. I've sinced cleaned it up some
I am going to be doing a lot of work in the not so distant future. I am also going to try and convert her in to more of a daily driver.

Btw, not bald spots... FLAT spots

Mos def OG. Welcome back, Bro Nick. See you're still rockin' the RM Racing intake. I took one to get media blasted and black wrinkle powder coated yesterday.

Thanks guys Mike, per your comment I did finally update that page. I can't believe I haven't touched it in almost 2 years... it's been too long.

Hopefully I will find the time to get some more work done on my Legend. I have boxes of parts to install, I just need to find the time.

We just found out last month my wife is pregnant. She's almost 9 weeks in. So I am sure my time will be getting limited once again. But I have my own garage now, my own tools, etc.. So while I am sure things will slow down after the baby is born, once past those beginning months Ill have more time

The question is, will the baby be a Legend enthusiest or BMW enthusiest????

nah, as long as the baby is an import enthusiast, you'll be good in my books. My son liked my Mitsu Lancer the best of my cars, and I'm a Honda/Acura nut. It's all good as long as it isn't domestic in my book.

Thanks guys for the welcome back Hopefully I will be able to find the time to get more work done. I aim on driving the car way more often now. I think my next big mod after I get her to pass inspection is installing a baby seat

I am really, really excited about having a kid. December 2nd is the day to light the cigars and the beers are on the house!
